Celebrating 40 Years of Hearing Care – and Community – in 2026

Professional Hearing Services Inc is excited and honored to celebrate 40 years of service in 2026.

Our story began in 1986, when Eve Hensler founded Professional Hearing Services Inc with a commitment to compassionate, quality hearing care. In 2000, Dr. Todd Decker purchased the practice, and in 2006 the clinic moved to its current Watertown location. Over the years, our reach has continued to grow, serving the Milbank area for 23 years and expanding to the Brookings area in 2024.

Our mission has always been simple and meaningful:

“To improve the quality of life in the people we serve.”

We fulfill this mission by employing a dedicated team of providers and professionals who deliver care with education, compassion, experience, and integrity. Beyond our clinics, we support residents in care centers and assisted living facilities by helping maintain their hearing aids and overall hearing health. We also provide patient and community education through presentations and speaking engagements at local events and within the Lifesong event space.

Giving back is a cornerstone of who we are. Our team proudly volunteers time and resources to support local organizations and causes. Over the years, we’ve had the honor of participating in initiatives such as Make-A-Wish, The Banquet, PACH, Beacon Center, the Watertown Concert Series, The Memory Walk, Grant County Library, the Watertown Winter Farm Show, and many more. We also partner with several organizations like the Watertown Lions Club to help provide hearing healthcare services to underserved individuals in our community.

Our commitment extends beyond borders as well. Through our international partnership with Hearing the Call, we have helped equip individuals in Mexico, South Africa, Brazil, and beyond with the gift of hearing.

We know that 40 years of giving back is only possible because of the trust and support of our patients, community, providers, and partners. For that, we are deeply grateful.
