Dr. Decker has been an Audiologist for 25 years; 5 years working in a hearing aid manufacturer and 20 years in private practice. He medically evaluates the hearing of children and adults and can improve their lives with the treatment of hearing conditions.
Dr. Decker has a M.S. in Audiology and an Au.D. He is the current President of the SD Board of Audiology and Hearing Instrument Specialists and was the past president of the SD Hearing Health Practitioners Association. He is also a past President of the Watertown Kiwanis.
Dr. Todd moved from Minnesota to Watertown 20 years ago. He and his wife Julianne have 3 beautiful daughters all adopted from Russia. They enjoy “Family Friday pizza and movie night.”
“I am inspired to do what I do because helping to improve the life of an individual, one at a time will help make a stronger and more caring community.” His motivation comes from “the opportunity to utilize the gifts God has given me to enhance the life of another human being so they may have the ability to become the best they can be. I am inspired by having a caring and professional team with me to provide the best outcome and patient experience we can.”
Angie handles all insurance, financial related items, Wells Fargo financing and can assist patients with our various Hearing Assistance Programs.
She has been with Professional Hearing Services since 2012 and prior to that worked at a multi-provider medical practice handling insurance billing as well as insurance and patient concerns.
She and her husband Casey have 3 children and a son in law. In her free time she enjoys golfing, camping, traveling and spending time with family.
When asked what inspires her she states “I am inspired by my family and being able to watch people’s lives change for the better. I have always had a desire to help others. I enjoy being able to help patients find a way to treat their hearing loss that does not make the cost a burden for them.”
Patient Care Coordinator
Kara joined the team in December of 2020. She and her husband, Cory, have one daughter. In their spare time we enjoy spending time at the lake, watching movies, and being with family.
Kara enjoys working with people and helping people live their lives to the fullest.

It brings me joy seeing and hearing about the happiness that patients, and their families, experience by being able to hear every day sounds and being able to be a part of the conversations with those around them."
Dr. Angela Seuser
Dr. Seuser educates patients on their hearing related healthcare and helps improve their quality of life through better hearing.
Dr. Angela spent several years in Vermillion completing her Bachelor and Doctorate degrees and has been with Professional Hearing Services since her residency in 2015. Dr. Seuser graduated from University of South Dakota with her Doctorate in Audiology and is a member of two national Academies.
She and her husband Ian are busy raising three young babies on a farm/acreage outside of town. She is a lover of mornings and ironically loves silence. If you see her in the office, it is likely she will be drinking a coffee or water!
Dr. Angela says her inspiration comes from believing in and living by pushing herself and others outside the boundaries of the comfort zone (to become better) or (to grow.)
When asked about her motivation she states “my children inspire me every day. I see them soaking in everything I do and it reminds me to experience life and treat people the way I hope they will someday.” She believes every person that comes through the doors at PHS is seen and heard as a unique individual and receives individual care.
Patient Care Coordinator
Lisa has been with Professional Hearing Services since 2015. She works the clean and check desk on the east side of our building. She is trained on minor repairs and assists with checking in and out all of the hearing technology in our office.
Lisa grew up on a farm in Minnesota and her background includes working in retail, also doing alterations for 7 years and then worked as Patient Care Coordinator in a medical clinic for 23 years. She has a degree in commercial Tailoring and still helps people with their sewing needs. She is treasurer for the Ladies group at her church in Kranzburg, SD. She is married and has 2 grown sons. Her favorite thing to do is travel with her family!
Lisa says her inspiration comes from the stories she hears. “Everyone has a story to tell and I enjoy hearing all of their unique stories. I love helping our patients overcome issues they may be having with their hearing devices or accessories. I always want the patient to feel we are all here to improve their quality of life through better hearing.”
Hearing Instrument Specialist
Kari has been at Professional Hearing Services for 7 ½ years and prior to that she was a supervisor at a background screening company.
Kari graduated from Northern State University with a B.A. in Sociology and received her Hearing Dispensing License in July of 2018.
In her spare time Kari enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. They enjoy camping, riding horse, attending DWU track meets and playing board games.
When asked what inspires her she states “Working with a team that all share the same vision. I am motivated by helping people hear and improving their quality of life. That help can come in many forms such as cleaning a hearing aid or simply listening to our patients and letting them know we genuinely care about them.”
Lauren started with Professional Hearing Services in August of 2019. Before joining our team, she spent 10 years working in various forms of healthcare such as hospitals, clinics and assisted living communities.
Lauren and her husband have two sons. During their spare time they enjoy camping and spending time outdoors together.
When asked about what inspires her and motivates her at Professional Hearing Services she says “My children inspire me to be the best I can. Now that I am at PHS, I have so much fun seeing patients come back for follow ups after their fitting and hearing them talk about the difference it has made in their life. There are certain sounds they forgot about! I am the first person to answer the phone or the first person patients see so I try to be as knowledgeable as I can and greet people with a friendly smile.”
