Professional Hearing Services 1 of 12 Chosen as Beta Test Site
Four Universities and 8 private practice clinics throughout the United States will be part of a nationwide external clinical trial of 2 new hearing devices.
Dr. Todd Decker and Eve Hensler, Audiologist, with Professional Hearing Services, have enjoyed being part of 2 beta studies with Starkey in the past. "This opportunity allows us to provide our patients the ability to experience the most recent state of the art technology first hand."
During this trial, 10 subjects wear the test devices for 4 weeks. Their experience is evaluated during the test period so that Professional Hearing Services can collect data and report it to Starkey.
"Starkey continues to work with Professional Hearing Services in our beta studies due to their high level of expertise in fitting new technology and the extensive patient care they provide on a daily basis," Justyn Pisa, Research Audiologist with Starkey Laboratories said.
The beta test will run from May 28 to July 18, however this new technology is available and can be demonstrated by calling Professional Hearing Services for an appointment.
